Knew Peter for at least 53 years. We were the neighbour at the back (over the fence). Our children, Martha, Mark & Greg grew up together. We had, I think the first TV in the neighbourhood and it was second home for PEter. He almost rocked the rocker off the rocking chair. We always had enjoyed his visiting.
I had not seen Pete, The Prez in 12 years. He came to my house with arms open to give a hug & I said "Get you're boots off!!!" He says, Jez, we haven't seen each other in 12 yrs & I'm getting shit!.. Did you get away with this 12 yrs ago??

All my young time in the Sherwood Park house. Me, Kelsey and Sam, always the cause of some small childhood problem. Uncle Pete would give a yell, settle down you kids! He always made me feel good and safe somehow. I shall miss him. Goodbye Uncle Pete, say hello to my father for me.
My memories of Pete are mostly good. Each time I came to his home (to visit, to live etc) he always welcome me with open arms. He would say "Katie what do you want to hear?" We would bee-bop to his tunes & he always had any song I requested. I loved him dearly & will miss him a lot.
When I heard of Pete's passing the first thing I did was cry. I guess I never saw the day coming where laid back Pete would leave this earth. He really touched my heart with his generosity and laugh. I hadn't seen him for awhile but his impression is so strong it's like I just saw him yesterday.
