Charlotte
So many - days in St Catharines on Currie street, teasing me about having a boyfriend with Paul. Dancing at Jen's wedding, looking so fine in suit & tie, not the usual attire. He said he felt as if Jen's white dress was like a princess dress so he was honored to be at the wedding. We talked of books he liked to read. I tried a few but didn't like them. I was happy to hear his favorite songs because those I loved. Some day everything will make sense, so until then Peter, love from sister Charlotte.
Alice Berkew
I (Patsy) phoned Alice to tell her about Peter. Alice said what a nice boy Peter always was. One time for his 10-11 birthday she made him a cake. When he saw it he said "Thats too nice to eat". Another memory was when Alice made bread. Paul & Peter wanted to punch the bread down. Alice said "well you have to have really clean hands so do the dishes". This became a regular routine.
"Red Cap" Debra

Peter always called me Debra with emphasis on the "ra". He also nicknamed me Zebra and "Red Cap" as I have red hair & our dad drank "Red Cap" beer.

My fondest memory was playing hide & seek on summer evenings with all the Currie St. kids. One non-neighbour wondered how Peter could play when he was "blind" & someone shouted just watch, he can even hear the "lamp posts". He's the best seeker. 90% of our summer evenings were spent playing hide & seek, "home" was the lamp post in front of Alice Berkew's house. We were all amazed how Peter played, ran, everything with his patch on & got the nickname "Patch" from those nights. We all were about 9 - 13yrs old.

Joanne

When I was about 10 or 11 I was going to my first PJ party at Sharon & Linda Huserack's. Pete came home from working at Kimberly Clark and told me to go down in his room to get his cut offs. On the bed was a bag for me with pink & white babydolls, a short house coat, slippers, popcorn cheese my favorite and a big bottle of pop. Hugs came with it and if you need me I'll be there.

I have so many happy memories of Pete that I would go on forever. I'll miss him terribly. I know he's with Paul & Dad and not in pain so I'll have to let go.

Thanks for the lovely day and great time at Debbie's & Les.

Love Jo

Patsy
Walking at the cottage down Huron St. Peter had getto blaster with music playing loud - he was dancing down the street. He really enjoyed each moment. He was fun to spend time with. I can't remember what music was playing. That was middle 80's at least.
